please help a friend, a few clicks is all it takes!
Last night my friend lost all of her viral and a loooot of points on her youtube video entry on Brickfish. She has not been feeling well for some time, and recently her father passed away, yet has still been doing what she can to vote for others. She is also the first person I know to welcome new members, enter non-prize campaigns for charity, and post mine and others' entries virally without asking anything in return. So I'm asking now for your help to just give her a single (or more if you like, lol) vote to help her get closer to what she had before the drop. She's an amazing person and could use some moral support right now. Here's a link to her entry:
and if you have a spare moment and feel like voting for me too in a different campaign, you can vote here:

Do you have what it takes to become a ChaCha guide?
ChaCha is a human-powered mobile search engine run by thousands of guides working remotely from all over the US. We've has answered over half a billion questions from people on the go, and the ChaCha.com website is in the top 100 most visited sites in the US. ChaCha's user base continues to grow rapidly and our popularity is skyrocketing. We need more guides to join us so that we can keep up with all the extra traffic we're getting!
As guides, we answer questions on anything and everything. We define words, solve puzzles, tell jokes, handle 411-type inquiries, help out with homework, offer relationship advice, answer sports questions, and so much more. If you love to learn and are looking for a fun, challenging, and rewarding way to make some extra cash, ChaCha is a perfect opportunity!
Guides work as independent contractors, so it's an extremely flexible position. We can work as much or as little as we want, whenever we want (we answer questions 24/7/365), wherever you want (all that's needed is high-speed internet access and Firefox). We're paid on a per-query basis, so how much we make is up to us based on how fast we work and how much time we choose to put in. There's no limit! It's a great source of supplementary income, perfect for students and stay-at-home parents. You can answer one question a day or thousands. You can wake up at the crack of dawn and start working in your PJs, if you want! It's totally up to you.
So, if you've ever wondered how many dollar bills it would take to stretch around the earth's equator, if you've ever been called (or aspired to be called) a walking encyclopedia, or if you know the internet like the back of your hand, head on over to http://becomeaguide.chacha.com
and click "Get Started!" in the upper right-hand corner. Enter email@example.com as your referral e-mail and start the process to become a ChaCha guide today!

TRUTHABOUTFOOD isn’t a pleasant reality. But it’s a reality people need to become aware of. Ignorance is not bliss when it’s something as important as the fuel to your very existence. It’s time people get their heads out of the ground and face the truth of what it is that we put in our bodies. This is as honest and raw as the truth is going to get about what we eat. Some of what will be said may be hard to “swallow,” but some will be just pure fun, recipes, healthy cooking, advice, support, recommendations and reviews. The site is intended for eaters of all kinds alike. The only qualification you need is a desire for the truth, and the will to change.

movie greats - classic movies
is a totally new community for discussing movies made up to the end of the 1970s. We discuss all types of movies from that era, and not just Hollywood movies. From Billy Wilder to Polanski, from Busby Berkeley to Hitchcock, from Cecil B. de Mille to Stanley Kubrick. Plus all the stars – Garbo, Cagney, Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Louise Brooks, Audrey Hepburn, Bogart, Harlow, Brando, James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, Sean Connery, etc. We talk about musicals, crime movies, film noir, screwball comedies, French New Wave, British movies, Italian movies, science fiction movies, anything made before the end of the 1970s. We’ll be doing some in-depth discussions, and we’ll be having lots of fun. Even the occasional movie quiz.
